Additional phases

The airport has scope to expand as it has 4000 acre of land allocated towards it. What one sees today at the airport site is just one phase of the Master Plan. With the current infrastructure, we were confident of handing the traffic for the next 2-3 years. Till the final master plan is realized, this airport will be a work in progress project for the next 10 to 15 years with gradual but continuous expansion phases, the way it was initially envisioned and planned.
