This body regulates the import and export of plant and plant products through air travel (except "Live Plants"). This helps to protect the environment by preventing the spread of exotic pests. Compliance to the safe quarantine practices specified by PQCS and possession of the appropriate permits issued by PQCS is mandatory to import or export any plant or plant materials.

This body regulates the transshipment of cargo across airports in India/Globe. The transhipment of cargo by air requires compliance to guidelines of this body. It is mandatory to obtain the appropriate clearance from this body prior to transshipment of cargo.

In case Transshipment of Cargo, details can be obtained by Customs officers on duty at Bengaluru International Airport Cargo Terminals Air India SATS or Menzies Aviation Bobba.

Export of all Bulk drugs, formulations, Cosmetics, Medical Devices, Ayurvedic & Homeopathic drugs requires the approval of the Additional Drug Controller. Only drug consignments receiving the "No objection certificate" from the office of the Additional Drug Controller will be exported through Bengaluru International Airport.

This body ensures the quality of textiles and textile machinery for internal consumption and export purposes. The regulatory requirements necessitate the shippers/exporters/CHA’s to deposit their textile samples for testing at Textile Committee Office in Bangalore International Airport. This body will be also issuing Certificate of Origin (CO) & Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) related to textile industry and only samples that meet the required specifications will be approved for import/export.
